Devin Colson will forever be an angel. She was born to the late Tonia Joiner and Devan Colson Sr. on January 26, 1993 in Alachua, FL. She grew up a country girl and it never truly left her although she did some traveling in her days. She attended Pre-k through middle school in her hometown and graduated high school in 2011 with her Electrocardiogram certification from Gainesville High School in Gainesville FL. Devin obtained her bachelors degree in nursing from Rasmussen College of Ocala in 2018 and she later became a nurse and was of great service to her community for over thirty years before she retired.

After her working days, she enjoyed a little more traveling and spent more time by the fish creek. She loved spending time with family and every chance she got she wanted to spend time with her children and grandchildren. Her main focus in her journey of life was to find the pursuit of happiness and to live day by day because tomorrow is never promised. Her career was very important to her and she was very passionate about it, however her God was first and her family second. She married the love of her life in 2018, and left two beautiful children behind and a devoted husband. The Husband and wife were inseparable, they were truly happily married. He kept his word and stuck by her side “til death did them part.”

She was a very loving, caring, and unique woman. When you looked at her smile it was truly an act of God how she could brighten someone’s day. She’s the type of person that could be so bad off but you’d never know because God had blessed her with strengths no man can take from her. Her uplifting spirit and gratifying smile will be greatly missed.
